The Sweet Feeling of Success May 29, 2011
I am a high school graduate.
I am so incredibly happy and blessed. I made it. I did it. I’m done with high school.
Graduation was fabulous. My *fabulous, fantastic* (are you feeling the sarcasm?) class actually pulled off a dignified ceremony on the football field in the amazing weather (it was sunny and perfect!). Well… that is if you look over the fact that one of our Senior officers messed up the Pledge of Allegiance, but hey, at least his senior class was there to back him up. I have my diploma, and I’m freaking excited about BELMONT!!!
As I sat there after I got my diploma cover and waited to get finished, all the girls around me started crying. (Note: Honors students and senior officers graduate first. And we don’t get diplomas until after the ceremony to make sure we don’t act like we really are from Franklin County. 
) I got through the whole thing without crying, which is some success considering I cried all day Sunday after our senior presentation at church, all day my last day in band, and etc. etc. But I did it! Success! Not tears… yet?
So after graduation and after I got my freaking piece of paper, my parents took me and my bro out to eat, which was awkward because well, my parents are divorced now and we went out together. Yeah. Weird. Totally the most awkward hour and a half of my life.
After that interesting dinner, I went back to the school for Project Graduation. It was hilarious. Just Dance, pool, ping pong, karaoke, and a womanless beauty pageant! (Pictures are below). Speaking of karaoke, let’s just say that a certain someone, (cough*cough Ya’ll know how much I just LOVEEEE her )sang entirely too much Friday night/Saturday morning. At one point, she got up on stage, and me, Malia, and Forrest got up at the exact same time without saying anything to each other and just walked out. Priceless moment. I think we have some telepathic thing going on. And the womanless beauty pageant? Most hilarious thing ever.

I got my MacBook last Tuesday!! HEHEHE. I’ve been waiting on this piece of fine technology for a year now. I love it. Plus, I have Garage Band and every JamPack except the “World Music” one. I didn’t think I would need that one. =P
After I slept forever Saturday from like 7 to 2, I actually got up and went to babysit my favorite little boy ever that night. I made this video of him playing with PhotoBooth on my MacBook. It’s so cute. I’d put it up, but that would require me putting it on YouTube, and I don’t like that idea. So, if you’re lucky enough to be my friend on Facebook, then you can watch it there. It’s pretty daggum cute if I do say so myself.
Oh, and yesterday, I found out who my roommate is going to be. I added her on FB. I’m no creeper; I actually put a little message with the request saying how I found her. lol. I hope she’s normal and not like Rebecca off The Roommate.
I’d have to say this has been an amazing start to my summer. <3
